Regular oral hygiene appointments are a simple and cost-effective way to help keep your gums strong and healthy. You will only need to spend an hour or so at Coastal Smiles before hopefully leaving our practice with a clean bill of health for another six months.
What Will Happen during an Oral Hygiene Appointment?
During your professional teeth cleaning, our hygienist will gently scale your teeth to remove all the tartar using special hand instruments. Once the tartar is removed, your teeth are carefully polished which can help remove some surface stains. It’s quite a nice treatment because afterwards your mouth will feel beautifully fresh and clean.
Your oral hygiene appointment is also a great opportunity to learn more about your dental health and how best to improve or maintain it.
