We know dental emergencies can be difficult and upsetting which is why we ask that you get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can look after you. Our caring dental team always strives to see people in pain and discomfort as quickly as we can, often on the same day. When you contact us, we will get you booked in and our friendly staff can offer immediate advice over the phone.
What to Do If You Have Toothache
Try gently flossing around the tooth as sometimes impacted food can slightly dislodge a tooth, causing pain. If this doesn’t help, contact us immediately as you could have a tooth infection. The sooner we can treat your tooth, the more likely we can save it.
What to Do If You Knock Out a Tooth
If you knock out a tooth come and see us immediately because we may be able to re-implant the tooth up to an hour after the accident. In the meantime, rinse the tooth, holding it by its crown. If you feel able, carefully reinsert the tooth and hold it in place with a clean finger or by gently biting down on a tissue and come and see us. Alternatively, store the tooth in a little milk or saliva and bring it with you.
