We are delighted to announce that Coastal Smiles has acquired QIP (Quality Innovation Performance) Accreditation and thought we’d briefly explain why this voluntary accreditation is important. During accreditation, practices must undertake a process of continuing quality improvement, ensuring they have adopted the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards into their existing quality systems. Accreditation focuses on documenting existing practice procedures while introducing new procedures when required. By documenting our practice procedures, we can ensure they meet and even exceed the required standards.
